Light a Lantern aims to post all orders by the next working day once orders have been placed, and payment is received.

Compliments and complaints

Light a Lantern is happy to hear from you at any time. If you have a complaint please contact Light a Lantern and we will do all we can to resolve the problem.

Refunds and exchanges

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We endeavour to supply only the best quality goods, however, if you are not entirely happy with our goods and the item is unused and in a re-saleable condition (the packaging is intact and there are no marks on the product) you can notify us within seven working days and then return the product for a full refund, including postage costs you incurred on your purchase (Light a Lantern will not refund the cost of returning the product to us). Refunds are sent as cheques. All our lanterns are individually checked before posting. However, in the unlikely event of an item being faulty then please contact Light a Lantern.

In the case of a sky lantern display provided by Light a Lantern, you have seven working days to cancel from the day we receive your deposit cheque and confirm your booking by email.

How are duties and taxes calculated?

Light a Lantern is registered for UK VAT. You will be charged VAT on your purchase Please note that all shipments outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the shipment reaches your country. As Light a Lantern has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

What is our Privacy Policy?

Light a Lantern is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.

Light a Lantern will automatically add you to our mailing list to receive details of special offers and new ranges. Please let us know if you don’t wish to be included. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by contacting Light a Lantern or calling us on 07717 872 229. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If you have other queries, please do not hesitate and contact Light a Lantern.

Specification or price of any product is subject to change without prior notification. You are advised to confirm current specification and price before buying. None of the contents of our Terms & Conditions supercede any statutory consumer rights you have under UK law.
